Mr. Patrick Cory Volk, beloved son of Joe and Dolores Volk, passed away in Medicine Hat on Friday, December 7, 2018, at the age of 43 years. Along with his parents, left to cherish Patrick’s memory is his sister, Carol (Richard); sister-in-law, Debbie and her two children, Braeden (Kaitlyn), Ashley (Mark) and their son, Kowen. He is also survived by numerous other extended family and many friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Bruce; grandparents, Pete and Emilia Thauberger, Martin and Pauline Volk as well as numerous other relatives. Patrick worked at Goodyear in Medicine Hat for over 13 years making many good friends along the way. He had a love for vehicles and a soft spot for camaros in particular. A loving son, brother, uncle and friend, he will be missed by all those whose lives he touched. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so starting one hour prior to Vigil Prayers which will be recited at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. The service celebrating Patrick’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery with a time of fellowship thereafter in the Cook Southland Reception Facility.     So sorry for your loss. I remember meeting Patrick many times when working at the 7-11 with his sister Carol on the S.E hill when it was there. He was always pleasant and funny when he stopped in. Again sorry for your loss.
