BEIERBACH, Stella

Posted: January 11th, 2019

With sadness and sorrow, the family of Stella Mae Trainer Beierbach announces her passing on January 6, 2019. Stella Trainer was born in Medicine Hat, AB on October 27, 1940 and grew up on a small homestead near Manyberries, AB. She married John Herbert Beierbach in 1959 and raised two sons while living in Onefour, AB and then Medicine Hat from 1967. From her humble farm life upbringing, Stella learned to work hard as she did for many years as a cashier and manager of several Medicine Hat businesses. One of her enjoyments during that time was league bowling. Stella was pre-deceased by her husband in 1989 and moved to Okotoks, AB in 1997 where she has lived very independently until her passing. Stella enjoyed baking, making crafts and was very proud of her heritage. Stella was also very involved in the Okotoks & District Seniors Club for many years where she loved to play cards, volunteer and socialize with her many dear friends.

Stella is lovingly remembered by her son, K Evert (Lana) Beierbach and family, Tara, Ethan, Liam & Rosalie, Josh & Claire and Payson & Rose; son, Barry (Allison) Beierbach and family, Krystal, Jo & Lily, Chad & Melissa and Lacey & Daniel; as well as niece, Yvonne Trainer. Besides her husband, Stella was also predeceased by her parents, Claude Carl Trainer and Elsie Jean Trainer (McLuckie) and brother, James Warren Trainer. Stella, our mom, grandma, great grandma, aunt and friend will be lovingly missed and respected forever.

A Celebration of Stella’s Life will be announced at a later date. Many thanks to the care professionals at the Okotoks Urgent Care Center, High River Hospital, Rocky View Hospital, Peter Lougheed Hospital, South Health Campus and her family doctor who cared for Stella in her final weeks.
