It is with the heaviest of hearts that the family of Dexter Druar announces that he skated into Heaven on Friday, January 18, 2019, at the age of 10 years. Dexter was born July 1, 2008, in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, a son to proud parents, Bobby and Troy. He grew up in Redcliff attending Margaret Wooding School where he was an exceptional student who was well liked by his fellow students. He had such a pure heart and was quite hilarious – he could make anyone laugh whether it by his jokes or the pranks he pulled! Dexter had a kind and caring nature to him and was a supportive teammate, friend and brother. This handsome little guy had so many wonderful qualities that made him so special… he was smart, generous, hardworking and an amazing athlete who truly excelled at everything he did. Dexter played hockey, soccer, ball hockey and golf. He also liked science, play-station and eating! Most of all, he had a lust for life and created so many lasting memories that he will be forever etched in the hearts of all who knew him! Dexter will be deeply missed and cherished by his mom, Roberta Pickford; dad, Troy (Cheryl) Druar; brothers, Zac Pickford, Jake Druar and Dalton Druar; step-brothers, Rylan and Landon Boyko; maternal grandparents, Donna Pickford and Robert (Darlene) Pickford; paternal grandparents, Ronald and Maxine Lewis as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, friends and teammates. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Victor Anthony Druar.
