Posted: February 1st, 2019Mrs. Maria Petrehele of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Aurel Petrehele, passed away on Tuesday, January 29th, 2019 at the age of 89 years. Maria leaves to cherish her memory one son, John (Flora) Petrehele; and three grandchildren, Florin, Gabriel and Victor. Maria was predeceased by her husband, Aurel Petrehele; her son, Petre Petrehele; and her parents. Maria was a very active woman who enjoyed crocheting and walking. She was a very loving grandma for her grandchildren. A Time of Remembrance for Maria will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, on Sunday, February 3rd, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Memorial gifts in Maria’s memory may be made to the South Country Village, Sunnyview Nursing Home, 1720 Bell Street SW, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 5G1.
