Larry Allan Roth passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Thursday, January 31st, 2019 at the age of 80 years. Larry was born on January 10th, 1939 in Leader, SK and grew up on the family farm near Burstall, SK. He proudly worked for TransCanada Pipelines for 38 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Hilda Roth; and sisters, Mildred Heeg and Blanche Keating. Larry is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marian (née: Toudy); children: Janice (Michael Scidmore), Nadine (Paulo Horta), Laurel (Trevor Baker), and Stephen; grandchildren: Eric (Kinny), Kyle (Dani), Kate and Alex Scidmore, Erica, Jacob and Madeline Baker, and Gabriel and Rafael Horta; brother, Harvey (Marilyn); sister, Dianne (Ken) Connery; brother-in-law, Robert Heeg; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 5th, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Minister Cathie Bell officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Larry’s name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, Unit 26 – 1738 Quebec Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9 or The Lung Association of Saskatchewan, 1231 8th St E, Saskatoon, SK, S7H 0S5.
