1923 ~ MARGARET ROTH ~ 2019

Mrs. Margaret Roth, beloved wife of Emanuel Roth of Medicine Hat, passed away on Monday, March 18th, 2019 at the age of 95 years. Margaret also leaves to cherish her memory numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Emanuel and Maria Beierbach; and five sisters, Sally, Emma, Hertha, Christina, Mary and Olga. Margaret was born on October 16th, 1923 in Romania. She immigrated to Canada and settled in Walsh, Alberta. She attended the McKay Creek School. Margaret married Emanuel on March 26th, 1960 and together they farmed in Richmound, Saskatchewan before retiring to Medicine Hat. Margaret also worked at Medalta Potteries and The Medicine Hat Regional Hospital. She loved living on the farm and gardening. Thank you to the nursing staff at the Haven and Sunnyview at South Country Village for their care and patience for Margaret; their care was very much appreciated. A private graveside service will take place at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery, on Friday, March 22nd, 2019 with Pastor Bob Church officiating.
