Mrs. Barbaretta Chisholm, beloved wife of the late Mr. William Chisholm, passed away peacefully in Medicine Hat on Monday, May 27, 2019, at the remarkable age of 101 years. Barbaretta leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Shirley Gutfreund and Grace (Bill) Moore; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great- greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Barbaretta was predeceased by her husband, Bill; son-in-law, John Gutfreund; parents, John and Emily Koch as well as nine brothers and two sisters. Barbaretta lived a long, fulfilling life and she will be dearly missed! Vigil Prayers will be recited at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Friday, May 31, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 1451 Strachan Road S.E., Medicine Hat on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. with Father Vijaya Bathineni celebrant.
