DARYN “MILSY” MILLER

It is with the heaviest of hearts that the family of a truly remarkable man, Daryn “Milsy” Todd Miller announces his unexpected passing in Medicine Hat on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at 50 years of age. Daryn leaves to cherish his memory his children, Kaylee and Ayden and their mother, Kari. He also leaves his sisters, Kim Miller and nephew Jeff Fry and his family; Shawn and her husband, Kelly Torresan and his special friend, Sheri Fried and her son, Mateo. Daryn was predeceased by his parents, Norman and Sharon and step-father, George. Daryn was born in Medicine Hat on June 19, 1968. He grew up and went to school in Medicine Hat and graduated from CHHS. Daryn attended the University of Lethbridge where he received his education degree. Not long after university he met the mother of his children, Kari. Daryn and Kari relocated to Fox Lake where he taught for three years. Returning to Medicine Hat, he took his first position with Prairie Rose School Division in Bow Island. Daryn held various positions within the division and eventually finished his teaching career as principal at Parkside School. He truly loved his family and was very proud of his kids, Kaylee and Ayden. Daryn was loved and respected by his friends, family, fellow teachers and students and will be deeply missed – he was a “Beauty”!     I am so sorry and shocked to hear of Daryn’s passing. He was another one of my many sons. He spent a lot of time at our house when we lived on Colter Cres. They gang always managed to come to our home no matter where we lived. So sad. Our sympathies go out to the family.

    My gosh, Kari I am in shock. Worked with Daryn at MH Golf course, then ran into each other every now and then. I can’t believe that he passed away, he was a good friend and a great man. Had a lot of good talks with him when we worked together. Wow, this is one man that will be dearly missed. So so sorry Kari to hear this about my friend. My God bless you through these tough time as well as your Children…God be with you always. He was Simply the best!!!! I will miss him and our good talks…Our love and prays Kari…Daryl & Angie Craypo
