BOB HEINRICH

1928 ~ 2019

It is with great sadness that we wish to announce the passing of our father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Robert Charles (Bob) Heinrich. Bob was the only child of Jonah and Margaret Heinrich and spent his childhood growing up in the Graeburn area. This is where he met his wife and the mother of their children, Blanche Linderman. Many summers were spent at Elkwater with kids, boat, trailer and dog. Bob enjoyed travelling and was especially proud of his Hawaiian timeshare. He loved visiting with people and consequently worked well into his 80’s. As a transit driver, Bob was employed with the City of Medicine Hat for over 20 years. He was also a farmer, taxi driver and owner of Super Shammy sales. Bob was a partner in the ownership of Town & Country Club – now known as Ralph’s. Bob was proud of his accomplishments… especially his pilot’s license! He was predeceased by his wife, Blanche. Bob’s memory will be treasured in the hearts of his children, Audrey (Larry) Evenson, Murray (Pat) Heinrich, Kevin (Jayne) Heinrich; grandchildren, Travis (Melanie) Evenson, Cody Evenson, Dale Heinrich, Carmen Heinrich (Drew Tomak), Megan (Elijah) Jouk, Erin Heinrich (Bryan Lozano); great-grandchildren, Beth and Brody Evenson, Abigail Tomak, and Mariah and Trayven Lozano. The celebration of Bob’s life will be held at Ralph’s Texas Bar & Steak House, 1249 Trans Canada Way S.E., Medicine Hat, Alberta, on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mike Landrey officiating. A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow. Memorial tributes may be made directly to the CNIB, #102, 520 – 2 Street S.E., Medicine Hat, AB. T1A 0C6. I remember Mr. Heinrich as a child growing up in Medicine Hat and taking a city bus. He was always quiet but very sweet.
    My condolences to his family.
