CROCKFORD

Posted: July 5th, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce Ronald Colin Crockford passed away surrounded by his family on June 26, 2019. Ron was born and raised in Medicine Hat and resided on his acreage in Ardrossan. He was predeceased by his first wife (Loreli), his father (Colin), and his mother (Irene). He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 23 years, Donna (Munro) Crockford. He is also survived by his son Colin, daughter Danielle Gallagher (Tim), sister Daphne Scholz (Sieg), niece Brandy Lungul (Kevin), nephew Bryce Scholz (Jessie), and his great nieces and nephews. He was an accomplished competitive trap shooter who won several provincial and Canadian championships. His big laugh and “bad” jokes will never be forgotten by his many friends, family, and fellow trap shooters. A celebration of life will be held on July 4th, 2019, at the Edmonton Gun Club from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you send any donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Good shootin’, Crock.
