SENGER, Harvey Joseph

Harvey Senger passed away peacefully on October 2, 2019 after having endured a courageous battle. He is survived by his loving wife Gayle of 52 years, Cameron (Michele) and Cassyus, Justus and Angel, Ryan (Laurie) and Paighton, Cole, Hanna and Zara, Jamie (Paul) and Cadence, Easton and Callum and Kristy Senger. As well his sisters Shirley Stepanic and Pearl Black (Graham) and extended family and friends. Also preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Tillie Senger and brother in law Lloyd Stepanic. His family would like to send a sincere appreciation to the staff at Glenmore Lodge for their exceptional care and compassion. Harvey had a successful career in banking, almost 40 years service before retiring with HSBC in Saskatoon in 2004. He was a mentor to many people. He was a well known, respected community ambassador revered for touching the lives of many by the way of coaching hockey, ringette and baseball. He helped guide many young adults through his passion of sport.

Following Harvey’s requests there will not be a service. Arrangements entrusted to Everden Rust West Kelowna; condolences may be offered at www.everdenrust.com. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the www.diabetes.ca or the KGH Foundation, www.kghfoundation.com.
