Merril Raymond Kealey of Medicine Hat passed away on Tuesday, October 15th, 2019 at the age of 83 years. Merril leaves to cherish his memory his son, Stephen (Miranda) Kealy of Red Deer, AB; grandchildren, Phoenix, Tray, Kyleigh, Hunter, and Melasia; brothers, Robert (Anita), Mervin (Helen), Brian (Audrey) and Michael (Pat); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Merril was born in Low, Quebec on July 28, 1936. As a young man he joined the Royal Canadian Navy. He served his country for 35 years before he retired in 1991 and settled in Medicine Hat, AB. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE Medicine Hat, AB, on Tuesday, October 29th, 2019 at 2:30 pm with Father Vijaya Bathineni officiating.
