1936 ~ 2019

Alice Yvonne Christensen, beloved resident of Alfred Egan Home in Bow Island, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019, at the age of 83 years with the caring Alfred Egan Home staff members by her side. Alice was born on September 12, 1936, in Innisfail, Alberta. Alice lived with her family until she moved to Michener Services when she was about eleven years old. Alice moved to Lethbridge during the mid eighties and while there, lived in several different group homes. She moved to Alfred Egan Home on June 28, 2013. Alice lived her life by her own terms. The staff have fond memories of her saying good night or holding her hand out for them to take it. Alice will be missed by the staff whom she came to know as her family at Alfred Egan Home. A Celebration of Alice’s life will be held at the Alfred Egan Home, 939 Р1 Street East, Bow Island, on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant Gerry Getz officiating. Alice will be interred with her late mother, Pauline in the Murrayville Cemetery in Langley, BC, at a later date.
