Linda Marie Fischer (nee Barsness) passed away at St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice in Medicine Hat on Monday, January 13, 2020, at the age of 75 years. Linda’s memory will be forever cherished in the hearts of her daughters, Wendy Solley and Sheri Solley; grandsons, Jakob Grant and Noah Wilson; sister, Gloria Wright and her children, Lynne (Neil) Windjack, Barry Wright, Art Wright and Lori Wright as well as their families. Linda was predeceased by her grandson, Levi Grant; brother-in-law, Jerry Wright as well as her parents. Linda was born in Gull Lake, Saskatchewan on October 12, 1944. She was a Saskatchewan girl at heart but spent her last eight years in Medicine Hat where she met many friends. Linda was an avid wood carver who won many awards. She enjoyed being a member of the Medicine Hat Wood Carving Club and was a joyful woman whose love of the Lord, Jesus Christ was evident. Linda loved children (no matter whose they were) but her love of her family was first and foremost. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Linda’s life will be silently remembered by family and friends.     Sheri, Wendy Gloria and family, o sorry for your loss! Linda was such a precious soul! She is missed so much, I miss her little giggles, her huge heart, our long talks about everything, her saying ” remember to love hard”. Linda had so much love and joy in her… I wished I had so many more years to be her friend but what I did have was such a precious gift that I was always cherish. Love and hugs!!
