With heavy hearts, the family said goodbye to Ernie on Sunday, February 2, 2020, at River View Care Centre at the age of 88 years. He leaves to cherish his loving wife of 64 years, Arlene; and his daughters, Glenda, Twila and Luanne (Rick) to miss him terribly. He is survived by his grandchildren, Casey (Lindsay), Codey (Karen), Coryllee (Shawn), Camille (Leo), Alan, Robyn (Joel) and Amber; great-grandchildren, Auren, Naomi, Callie & Winnie. Also left to mourn are several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Beulah Zorn; sisters, Ethel, Hazel, Grace and Janet, son-in-law, Arnold and his only son, Robert. At his request, no formal service will be held, instead his life will be celebrated on Friday, February 7, 2020, with a Come and Go music jam held at the Redcliff Legion, 302 Broadway Avenue, Redcliff, AB., from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations in Ernie’s name may be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 119 Р14 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta.
