GERALD R. WEISS

Gerald, beloved husband of Dallas, passed away suddenly from a stroke. Gerald will be fondly remembered by his children, Drew (Leah), Justin (Cara) and children, Quade, Aven, McKinley, and Danielle (Tyrell) and children, Genevieve, Tristan, Audrey; his mother, Matilda; his brother, Keith (Kim); his mother-in-law, Marie Bradshaw; aunt, Bev Finlay; brothers-in-law, Rod (Shelley) and Gordon (Cheryl); and numerous nephews, niece, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Herb; father-in-law, David Bradshaw; his brother, Gregory; baby sister Weiss, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Gerald was born and raised in Medicine Hat; he was a Farmhouse alumni, Kinsmen life member, an active member of several community groups, and he also served on the provincial dairy board. He was a proud dairy farmer and produced the highest quality products. He enjoyed travelling, dancing, the performing arts, and experiencing new food, music and cultures. He will be dearly missed. The Funeral Service will be held at WESTMINSTER UNITED CHURCH, 101 – 6th Street SE, on Monday, March 2nd, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Lynn McKinnon officiating.     Though I lost touch with Gerald right after elementary school I remember him as a kind and compassionate friend. So sorry to hear that he’s gone.
