Cynthia ‘Cindy’ Roxanne Carnelli went to be with her Lord, peacefully in Medicine Hat after a courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at the age of 62 years. Cindy will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Dean; two sisters, Dianne (Lorence) Wittke and Roselyn (Dennis) Ritz; nephews, Justin (Jessica) and family and Matthew (De-Ann) and family; niece, Lyndsey; mother-in-law, Helen Carnelli and her brothers-in-law, Dan (Lisa) Carnelli and family and Darren (Roxanne) Carnelli and family. She will also be fondly remembered by her many friends and colleagues at the City of Medicine Hat, where she worked for the last 25 years; her church family as well as her extended family and many friends in Canada and the United States. Cindy was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Olga Stahl; father-in-law, Ron Carnelli and brother-in-law, Tye Carnelli. Cindy was a vibrant, gracious and passionate woman which was always apparent through her love for her family and friends. A Celebration of Cindy’s life will be held at River Valley Community Church, 1101 Queen Street S.E., Medicine Hat on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Mark Borrows officiating. A private interment will take place prior to the church service. Cindy’s family would like to thank Dr. Henning and team at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary, Dr. Kruger, Dr. Foley and team at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital and the staff at St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice for their compassionate and diligent care provided to Cindy.
