1946 ~ NORMAN SCHERER ~ 2020

Norman Gordon Scherer of Medicine Hat, AB passed away peacefully on June 24th, 2020 at the age of 73 years after a courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his best friend, Beverly Giroux; children, Dyan Galloway (Arthur McDermott), Joelle Scherer (Derek Wilcox), Jeffrey (Dena) Scherer, and Jordon Scherer (Dana Beck); grandchildren, Nikole (Sam) Menard, Raegan Scherer and Shae-Lynn Scherer, Max Scherer, Linden Scherer and Lincoln Scherer, Jaron Gackle and Jevon Gackle; great-grandchildren, Jade Menard and Jasmine Menard; brother, Dave, Harvey and Roy; sisters, Lori, Sharon, and Maxine; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Viola; brother, Robert; and sisters, Judy and Shirley. Norman will be deeply and sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him. In honour of Norman’s memory donations may be made to the Carmel Hospice at St. Joseph’s Home, 156 – 3rd Street NE, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 5M1.
