1934 ~ DENNIS “IKE” PINDER ~ 2020

Dennis “Ike” Pinder of Redcliff, AB, passed away on Sunday, August 9th, 2020 at the age of 85 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 61 years, Edith “Edie” Pinder; son, Glen; granddaughter, Michelle Rita Pinder; brother, Ralph (Vi); as well as in-laws, Marie Edwards of Prince George, BC, Wayne (Jean) Crawford of Redcliff, AB, Gary Crawford of Medicine Hat, AB, Nina Crawford of Dauphin, MB, Patricia (Scott) Larose of Victoria, BC as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dennis was predeceased by his son, Mark; his brother, Alan; and sister- in-law Burt (Carolyn) Crawford. Dennis was born at home in Redcliff where he was raised, educated, employed, and retired except for the three years that he was in the airforce. He was employed by Domglas for over three decades and retired upon its closing. He played hockey and baseball for the Redcliff Legion Red Sox and also curled. His family was very important to him and he will be sadly missed by them as well as his close friends. A Memorial Service will take place at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Friday, August 14th, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at REDCLIFF CEMETERY. Due to Covid-19, attendance will be limited to 100 people including staff and clergy.
