On Monday, September 21, 2020, Cornelis ‘Casey’ Prins was called home to his Lord and Saviour at the age of 91 years. Casey will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his eight children, Mary, George (Ann), Joanne (Harvey), Dorothy (Claude), Jeannette, Arlene (Greg), Elizabeth (Tim) and Barry (Shelly); 22 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Casey also leaves behind his sisters, Maria Vanderkwaak, Rene Thompson and Jenny (Casey) Stigter. Casey was predeceased by his wife, Johanna and four brothers, Huibert, Janus, Arnold and Martin. A Celebration of Casey’s life will be held at the Christian Reformed Church, 300 Primrose Drive S.E., Medicine Hat on Saturday, September 26, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor George Koopmans officiating. Due to restrictions in place regarding COVID – 19 from the Chief Medical Officer of Health – the service is by invitation only. The service will be live-streamed and can be accessed at medicinehatcrc.org. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to World Renew or to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta.     Our Condolences go out to all of your families. Casey was a kind soft spoken man and for many years a big part of our Redcliff Community and Christian Reform Church Community. He was Blessed with a large loving family and friends his example will be a reminder of the importance of family in all of us.
