Anthony ‘Tony’ Brown, beloved husband of Brenda, passed away at St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice in Medicine Hat on Thursday, October 22, 2020, at the age of 75 years. Along with Brenda, his loving wife of 44 years, Tony will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Paul (Karen) and David; daughters, Susan and Lisa (Tyrel) and grandchildren, Van and Georgia. He is also survived by six brothers, James, Christie, Paul, Noel, Lawrence and Liam; four sisters, Kathleen, Pam, Margaret and Angela as well as numerous nieces and nephews for whom he was and will remain, “The Legendary Uncle Tony.” He was predeceased by his parents, James and Kathleen Brown and brother, Thomas. Tony was born in Dublin, Ireland on December 23, 1944, immigrated to Canada in 1968 and eventually settled in Medicine Hat where he especially enjoyed the hot summers. Tony worked as a pipe fitter and a house painter. He will be fondly remembered for his years delighting audiences and fellow cast and crew as a cherished member of the Medicine Hat Community Theatre groups. Tony was the life of every party, entertaining friends and family with his musical talents, playing guitar and singing. A private family service will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2020, and friends are then welcome to join the family at Player’s Pub, 39 – 8 Street NW, Medicine Hat for a few drinks in Tony’s honour, beginning at 4:00 p.m. (Condolences may be expressed by visiting our website at www.cooksouthland.com) Honoured to serve the family is
