BROWN

Blanche Emily Brown, at age 74, of Burstall SK, has passed away 11 December 2020 with her family by her side. She was born to parents, Eldon and Emaleta (Toots) Brown, 23 November 1946 and was raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta and attended Medicine Hat High School. She married the late Wayne Davidson on 6 February 1965. Blanche is survived by her four children: Darren (Marlene) Davidson, Stacey Davidson, Corey (Lisa) Davidson, Scott (Linda) Davidson. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Blanche was a very strong and independent woman who always found the means to provide for her 4 boys. Although times were sometimes tough, she always made time to take her boys camping, cross country skiing, fishing and numerous sports. She had many talents and jobs, including volunteer firefighter, Special Needs Teaching Assistant, and even the Mayor of Irvine AB for a short time. In the past few years, even though she was challenged with crippling arthritis, she was always busy sewing, baking and renovating her house with her sassy cat underfoot!
