She passed away in Medicine Hat on Monday, January 18, 2021, at the age of 33 years. Micheala will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Hailey Resener and Kiersten Bell; parents, Patricia Brost and Garry Dunnan (Connie Dunnan-Peach); siblings, Jonathon Hanson (Whitney Stuber), Brittany (Mark) Streifel, Gabrielle Bow (Aksel Tigley) and Sydney Brost; grandmother, Helma Bow; many nieces and nephews; loving companion, Rikus Swiegers and his sons, Ryker and Rixten as well as her four-legged companion, Meko. She was predeceased by her grandpas, Merritt Manyon ‘Smokey’ Dunnan and Charles Bow; grandma, Jewel Tresa ‘Judy’ Dunnan and her aunt, Debra K. Brost. Micheala was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado and moved to Medicine Hat at the age of 14 years. She graduated from Eagle Butte High School in 2006, and furthered her studies at Medicine Hat College to pursue a career in nursing. Micheala became a LPN at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital where she was kind to all patients, greeting all with a smile and gentle approach. Her most memorable moments were skydiving with her sister, Sunday family suppers and going to Colorado and Oklahoma to visit family. She enjoyed fishing, camping, quadding, doing crafts with her girls and doing DIY projects including home decor. Micheala saw beauty in everything and always thought of others first. She was the most loving and caring mother who was so proud of her girls. Micheala brought joy, laughter and light to all who were fortunate to have known her.
