December 23, 1938 ~ January 25, 2021

With great sadness we announce the passing of Mary Elizabeth Felske on Monday, January 25, 2021, at the age of 82 years. Mary was born on December 23, 1938, to parents, Joseph and Agnes Henry. She grew up on the family farm near Nokomis, Saskatchewan, the oldest of four children. Mary attended Saline School, which was located just a few miles down the road from the farm. In 1957, she married Ronald Felske in Nokomis and together they traveled all over the western provinces looking for work. In lots of towns they found numerous treasured friends and made many wonderful memories with them. Mary and Ron had two children together, Linda and Stanley. Mary moved from Nokomis to Medicine Hat in 2013, to be closer to family. She moved into Park Meadows Village where the friends she made there were more like family to her. Mary loved to dance and listen to music, have coffee parties, make suppers to share and she loved to decorate for Christmas in a huge way. Flowers were her passion and the arrival of her first great-granddaughter brought endless joy to her life. Mary was very proud of her two grandsons and granddaughter and loved sharing in all of the accomplishments that they had achieved in their lives. Mary leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Linda (Ron) Moynes of Medicine Hat; son, Stan and his son, Wyatt both of Edson, Alberta; Linda and Ron’s children, Tyler Moynes (Shelby Kammerer) and Mykayla (Shawn) Jones with their daughter, Sierra all of Medicine Hat; a sister, Donna (Irwin Goertzen) of Edmonton, Alberta and her family; Robert Henry’s family and brother-in-law, Wayne Edwards of Vegreville, Alberta and his family; sister-in-law, Muriel Jasko of Vancouver, B.C. and her family as well as many loved nieces, nephews and cousins on both sides of her family. She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Robert; sister, Shirley; Ron; her mother and father-in-law; brother-in-law, Ivan Carlson as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law and two nephews on Ron’s side.
