MARGIE GEORGINA LOUISE LEWIS (FREY)

Margie was born at Maple Creek, Sask on 3 March 1940. (She always said her birthday was easy to remember 3-3-40).
Margie passed away at the hospital in Westlock Alta on 24 November, 2020, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was pre-deceased by her father Albert Frey, her mother Constance Mary Lightfoot (Frey), her daughter Lorraine Strickland (Lewis), and her sister Shirley Peters (Sharp, Frey)
She leaves to grieve her husband Robert Harold (Bob) Way, sons Bob Way (Noreen) St. Albert, Charles Way (Laurie) Westlock , and sons Larry Lewis and Clayton Lewis (from a previous marriage).
Also to grieve, her brothers Bruce Frey (June) Nanaimo, and Barry Frey, Airdrie, as well as grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Margie was a very exuberant person. She was very caring and a great sister. Margie loved all people and all dogs.
She grew up In Maple Creek, lived in Med Hat, Calgary, Montreal, Lynn Lake Man, Mount Pearl NFLD, Edmonton, St Albert and finally Westlock.
She will always be fondly remembered by her brothers and her sister-in-law June.
So glad that she was able to spend some time with us in Sept, before succumbing to cancer.
Miss you sis, will always know that we have a guardian angel looking over us.
You are finally at peace and without pain.
There are plans for a cremational burial beside her mom and dad at Maple Creek Cemetery in the spring or summer of 2021.
