May 4, 1943 ~ February 24, 2021

It is with a heavy heart that Betty Anne announces that her beloved husband, Irwin Lloyd Neil, passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at the age of 77 years. Along with Betty Anne, Irwin leaves to cherish his memory: daughters, Lisa (Rob) Byers and their children, Kruse and Maeve and Sheree (Ian) McGuire and their children, Ethan and Harper; their mother, Val Wilson; step-daughter, Roxie (Tracey) Sackman and their children, Shelby, Shauneen and Hunter; Chuck’s children, Sierra and Tyler; siblings, Sharron, Glenn and Bonnie as well as his best friends, Clem (Kathy) Kuntz. Irwin was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Marjorie; sister, Lynda and his step-son, Chuck. Irwin was born on May 4, 1943, to Lloyd and Marjorie Neil and grew up in a farming community with his four siblings. He moved out west in 1963, where he put down his roots with the birth of his two girls, Lisa and Sheree; they were his pride and joy! So many cherished memories were made over the years that will never be forgotten. Irwin’s amazing work ethic, loyalty to his friends, sense of humour and his ability to make everyone laugh, are traits that he will be forever remembered for. He will be deeply missed! Irwin’s memory will be celebrated with a private time of remembrance in the spring. Memorial donations in Irwin’s name may be made directly to AJ’s Loan Cupboard, Bay 4 – 602A Clay Avenue S.E., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 3V2.
