1930 ~ LILLIAN DOCKRELL ~ 2021

Posted: April 5th, 2021

Lillian Louise Dockrell born in Aberdeen, Saskatchewan on December 19, 1930, the baby of eight children, she always said she must have been an unwanted child because in the dirty 30’s who would have wanted another mouth to feed. Mom passed away on March 26, 2021 at the age of 90 years with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Dockrell, went to be with loved ones that have gone before her namely her husband, Stanley in 2017 and her son, Robert in 2003 . She was also predeceased by her mother and father, Carl and Mary Wudrich, as well as all of her seven siblings. Lillian is survived by her loving daughter, Donna Dirk and her husband Siegfried Tessmann. The apple of her eyes her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Kristen Bishoff (Tyler Leismeister), their daughter, Elliette; Justin and Cynara Dirk and their children Jaxton and Charleigh; Stephanie and Cameron Koch and their children Jordon and Hayden; Denniel and Jamie Ritchie. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Beatrice Prisque, Fern Wudrich, and Betty Wudrich; many nieces and nephews that meant the world to her; as well as many cousins she loved dearly. Mom loved to bake for her family and we called her cookie grandma because if she was baking cookies it wasn’t done until her table was full, then she carefully divided up the cookies for everyone to have a taste. She left us surrounded by all her loving family, on her terms, with so much love for all of us. Mom, you were the strongest person I knew and you will be forever loved and missed. At mom’s request, there will be no formal service as she wants people to remember her how she was, full of life and love.
