June 3, 1997 ~ March 31, 2021

It is with profound sadness that the family of Brandon Sveum announce the passing of their beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend. He was taken unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at the age of 23 years. Along with his father, Kelly Sveum (Brenda) and mother, Bess Sveum (Kyle), Brandon’s memory will be cherished in the hearts of his three brothers, Jeffery, Jared and Bradley as well as countless uncles, aunts, cousins, grandmothers and friends. Brandon was born in Bonnyville, Alberta and raised in Medicine Hat. He started playing football at the age of 9 and played each season thereafter with his final season being his grade 12 year with the Medicine Hat Mohawks. He loved the game as well as the comradery and the people who played it. Along with those in football, Brandon had many friends he kept in touch with while playing video games with his brothers. He was kind hearted with a gentle, selfless nature and he will be forever missed and loved by all who knew him. A celebration of Brandon’s life will be held in the coming months with further announcements at that time.
