DOROTHY HELLEN SITTER

1926 ~ 2021

Dorothy was born on the family farm on the North Bench, north of Eastend, SK on April 12, 1926 and passed away at Riverview Care Centre in Medicine Hat, AB on April 15, 2021 at the age of 95 years. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Dalyce Burgess (Michael); two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her infant sister, Bernice; her parents, Emanuel and Ida Bilau and her sister, Mata Rinke. The family would like to thank all the staff at Riverview as well as Dr. Monty Van der Westerhuzen for their exemplary care and compassion, particularly during the unprecedented and stressful events of the pandemic during the past year. A private family interment will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
