Peter was born in Gronau, Germany. He spent his formative years on the farm in Golden Prairie, Sk. and much of his adult life in Medicine Hat, AB. He passed into the presence of the Lord April 11,2021 in
Vernon, B.C.
Peter was predeceased by his wife, Bernice (Klaudt), his father Peter, mother Mary, and step-mother Minna as well as sisters Edith, Irma, Lena, Malvina step-sister Margaret and step-daughter Carla Hall.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Ida, his children, Morlen, Barry and Patty-Lee, and step-son Brad Schapansky (Beth); granddaughters, Natalie (Glenn), Jalene and Jenesah; Step-grandchildren, Darren and Allyson, Megan (Dave), Amy, and Brianna (Ben). Great-grandchildren : Reya, Griffin and Vincent. Step-great grandchildren; Aidan, Michaela and Darrien and many nieces and nephews.
A Gravesite Service in Medicine Hat will be announced when protocols allow.
