2000 ~ BAILEY MAE DOLLIMONT ~ 2021

Posted: July 23rd, 2021

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beautiful Bailey Mae. Bailey passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 15th, 2021. She will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Jim and Colleen Dollimont; brothers, James (Erin) Dollimont and Michael (Mags) Dollimont; niece, Isabel Dollimont; nephews, Jackson Dollimont and Liam Dollimont; grandparents, Roy and Merle Tuchscherer and Ann Dollimont; as well as numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear family friends. She was predeceased by her “Poppy”, James “Jim” Dollimont; her Auntie Sharon; and cousin, Patricia. From the time Bailey was born she was strong-willed, independent, and free-spirited; with a smile that would light up any room. Being outdoors with her “babin’ suit” on was always her favourite thing to do and for many years it was her preferred article of clothing. The beach was always her happy place. As Bailey was growing she took an interest in music and theatre, winning many awards at music festivals, and competing at the provincial level twice. She played Molly in a production of “Annie”, Ursula in the “The Little Mermaid”, and Maisy Bird in “Seussical Jr.”. Bailey loved all types of music from the “Oldies”, to Disney, to psychological and true-life dramas (which she had an uncanny memory for). Her favourite music style was Classic Rock and she loved sharing it with family and friends while visiting and enjoying a “cold one”. Bailey’s dream was to become a forensic psychologist, thus having an extreme interest in macabre individuals of the past and present, studying and learning the finest details of “what made them tick”. Her biggest love and passion were always her family, spending time with them in her laid back, no fuss way; just enjoying being together. She was a straight-shooter, honest and loyal friend, and had the very truest heart. Bailey had a deeper understanding of life, was an old soul and was wise beyond her years, never wanting to burden anyone with anything. Her concern was always for everyone else and she had the most beautiful spirit. Our beautiful Bailey is loved beyond measure and will live forever in our hearts, minds, and memories. She will always be with us — we will never be apart. A private celebration of Bailey’s life will take place at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, AB with Father Rodel Abanto, Celebrant.
