1929 ~ MARGARET SCHAEFFER ~ 2021

Margaret Susanna Schaeffer of Medicine Hat passed away on Wednesday, July 28th, 2021 at the age of 92 years. Margaret leaves to cherish her memory her children, Linda Davies, Donna (Don) Kormos, Anna Mary Stapleton, Robert (Carol) Schaeffer, Theresa (Len) Geiger; daughter-in-law, Karene Schaeffer; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, George and Margaret Myers; her first husband, Julius Czeck in 1959; her second husband, Frank Schaeffer in 1987; her son, George, and two grandchildren, Jennifer and Shawn. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Margaret. She was a member of The Hillbilly Band and the White Hatter RV Club. She was a brilliant homemaker and she enjoyed arts and crafts, bowling, travelling, camping and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and numerous friends. A private family interment will take place at the family plot at Redcliff Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a “Come and Go” celebration of Margaret’s life from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 6th, 2021, at SAAMIS CREEKSIDE RECEPTION CENTRE, #1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, AB.
