MERRYLE “MERYL” SMITH

Meryl passed away on Thursday, August 5th, 2021, at the age of 78 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Marilyn; son, Carey Smith; daughter, Veronica (Lonnie) Wagner; grandson, Brady Smith-Wilson; brother-in-law, Don (Carol) Olney; sister, Anita Deboer.
Meryl is predeceased by his parents, Stephen and Germaine Smith; brother, Alvin Smith; sister, Reta Carduner.
Meryl was born in Antler, Saskatchewan and raised in Storthoaks, Saskatchewan. He received his grade 12 diploma at Belgrade School.
Meryl enjoyed all sports. Driving was his life and by trade, he drove Coach for the Medicine Hat Blue Jays and Medicine Hat Cubs. He will be greatly missed.
