Posted: August 26th, 2021

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Kenneth Joseph Gawron announce his passing on August 19, 2021 in Medicine Hat after a long, courageous battle with Leukaemia. Ken was born in Saskatchewan in 1951 but lived most of his life in Alberta. Crowsnest Pass was very much home for Ken and he made many precious friends and memories there. Ken met Linda in 2010 and soon after they married at Lundbreck Falls. They spent their next 10 years together in Medicine Hat where he resided until his passing. Ken was a skilled mechanic and chef with a passion for cooking, motorcycles and all things outdoors. Ken took pride in his home and yard and kept the trees well manicured and the flower gardens neat and tidy. He had a love for Mexico, its people and culture and visited many times over the years with friends and family. Ken enjoyed various sports, fishing, boating, watching movies and mechanics. He was an avid motorcycle rider with a love of Harley Davidsons. He will be best remembered for his love of family, the outdoors, motorcycles and his pets. Ken was predeceased by his parents Ted and Sofia and his sister Marcia. His family meant the world to him and he will be greatly missed by his wife Linda of Medicine Hat, son Vance (Christa) and their 2 daughters; stepson Ryan (Becky) and their daughter; stepdaughter Traci (Patric) and their 2 sons; sister Alice; brother Stan (Kerry) and last but not least his best fur buddy Willy.
