It is with heavy hearts and sadness that the family of Kelly Jean Kurpjuweit announce her passing at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at the age of 59 years. Along with her loving husband Sheldon, Kelly’s memory will live on in the hearts of her three children: Robin (Kirsty) Kurpjuweit, Sara Kurpjuweit (Jeremy Lohrer) and Chelsey (Aaron) Welwood; her mother, Dorene Matsalla and siblings: Rick (Janet) Matsalla, Leanne (Owen) Telke, Lynda (Roger) Biemans, Debbie (Darcy) Brandt and Jim (Kari) Matsalla. She was predeceased by her father, Ed Matsalla. A Celebration of Kelly’s life will be held at Hillcrest Evangelical Missionary Church, 3785 – 13 Avenue S.E., Medicine Hat on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mike Landry officiating.
