CHESTER EBEL

1948 – 2021
Chester passed away on September 29th, 2021, at the age of 73 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Deborah; sons, Rod (Kim) Ebel and Rob (Tracy) Ebel; grandchildren, Mikayla Ebel, Derek Ebel, Danielle Ebel, Justine Ebel, Laura Ebel and Caleb Ebel; brother, Gerald (Lynda) Ebel; sisters, Norma (Stephen) Westhaver and Peggy Vera; sister-in-law, Bonnie Ebel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Chester was predeceased by his parents, William and Elsie Ebel; brother, Allan Ebel.
Chester left school at 16 years old and started as a barber. In 1971, he started working in Lethbridge, AB at the Lethbridge correction center. Chester moved to Medicine Hat in 1987 to work at the Medicine Hat Reman Center until he retired.
There will be no formal service held at this time. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses on 5E for their wonderful compassionate care of Chester (especially Pam, his day nurse).
