Cory Dana Carson of Medicine Hat passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 27th, 2021 at the age of 48 years. Cory leaves to cherish his memory his children, Tye, Kaitlyn and Liam; parents, Kenneth and Judy Carson; and sisters, Tiffany (James) Vaughan and Denise (Scott) Butterfield; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts, cousins and friends. Cory was predeceased by his grandparents, Aunt Denise, Aunt Rusty and Uncle Ron. Cory was born in Shaunavon, SK on May 31, 1973. He attended school there until the family moved to Medicine Hat. He worked in the oilfield, long haul trucking industry and cab driving. Cory had many hobbies. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, golfing, listening to music, his animals/reptiles, watching his teams in NFL football and hockey and Sport Select Picks! More than anything he relished the time spent with his kids and family. He also found much peace with his Faith in God! He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him. The funeral service will be held at Saamis Memorial Funeral Chapel on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Life Celebrant Lynett Getz officiating. Due to Covid-19 restrictions attendance will be limited.     My deepest sorrow and sympathy with the loss of Cory. Cory was an old soul that enjoyed the simpler things in life. He will be greatly missed. I will always cherish, miss and remember the times he dropped by for a visit with Timmies. While I was living in the Hat.
