We Will Always Remember You

Dustin Ryan Davis was born in Swift Current, SK., on September 18, 1982, and passed away suddenly in Red Deer, AB., on Friday, November 5, 2021, at the age of 39 years. Dusty was raised on a farm and spent most of his childhood in the Portreeve, SK., area. It is where his heart always stayed no matter how far he traveled from home. Dusty’s short life was filled with adventure. He was not one to spend much time in one place or doing the same thing. He tried his hand at many things such as working rigs, taking an operating course, achieving his journeyman welding certificate, obtained his quality control inspector license, worked pipeline and found his fair share of trouble along the way. Dusty loved his family more than life itself and would give the shirt off his back for the friends he considered family. He had a smile that could light up a room and a personality to match. He could strike up a conversation with absolutely anyone he crossed paths with and you would never forget meeting him. Dusty loved motorcycles, snowmobiles, 4-wheel driving and anything that went fast. He loved the gun range and extreme sports; to say he was an adrenaline junky would be an understatement. Dusty had the kindest, most gentle heart you will ever come across but unfortunately over the years, it had become buried in a dark cloud. Dusty struggled to battle his own demons and to find his place in the world after dealing with a lot of loss and pain. Dusty’s passing will leave a huge, empty hole in his family’s lives but every time they hear the thunder, they will know he is likely up there causing some trouble with his Dad and brother at his side. Dusty’s memory will live on in the hearts of his brother, Rob (Lisa); sister, Bobbi (Shane) as well as his nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. His children, Rylin and Makinlee who he cherished as well as Travis and Cash. He is also survived by his uncles, Dave (Jen) Davis, Neil Watson; mother, Cynthia Care as well as his first cousins who were more like siblings, Tyson (Abby), Jerri-Beth, Tel (Jamie) and Kelby. Dusty was predeceased by his father, Douglas; brother, Colton; aunt, Darla as well as his grandparents, James (Marlene) Davis and Carol and Jean Care. A service honouring Dusty will be held in Saskatchewan at a later date. (Condolences may be expressed by visiting www.cooksouthland.com) Honoured to serve the family is
