1924 – ALICE LORRAINE ZEEB – 2021

Alice Zeeb of Medicine Hat passed away on December 9th, 2021 at the age of 97 years, beloved wife of the late Adam Zeeb. Leaving to cherish Alice’s memory is her special niece Carol Thompson and dear neighbours Gail and Vaughn Thome as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Adam (1990), daughter Joyce (1967), son Gary (2010), sister Agnes Trekofski (1998), nephew Wayne Trekofski (2021) and parents George (1978) and Helen Borth (1996). Alice was born July 14th, 1924 at Stewart, Minnesota. In 1928, the family moved to Tilley Alberta where she received her education. Alice and Adam were married on April 16th, 1941, and farmed at Tilley until 1944, when they moved to a farm in Saskatchewan near Walsh. In 1955, they moved to an acreage in Walsh. They then retired to Medicine Hat in 1985. Alice remained in her home until early 2017 then moved into the Good Samaritan in Medicine Hat and she remained there until her passing. Alice’s strong faith helped her throughout her life. She was a long standing member of the CWL and Women’s Institute. Alice’s interests included gardening, bowling, playing cards and social gatherings. We would like to thank all the wonderful caregivers at the Good Samaritan Cottages who looked after Alice, especially during her final days. Rodel Abanto celebrant. Due to the restrictions brought forward by the Chief Medical Officer of Health, indoor public gatherings are to be kept to 50 people. Masks are mandatory.
