Glenn Ross Irwin of Redcliff, passed away on Monday, December 20th, 2021 at the age of 70 years after a long courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Glenn leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 33 years, Carolyn; stepdaughter, Tracy Balaneski (Kevin); grandchildren, Kylee, Kiara, Karissa and Kolton; sister, Myrna Owens (Kent); and step sister, Charmaine Williams; special cousin, Arlene Banerd; sisters-in-law, Vivian Tomlenovich, Gwen Beatty (Tom), Eunice Andrews (Jim Morton) and numerous nieces and nephews. Glenn was predeceased by his parents, Tom and Margaret Irwin. Glenn was employed with Canada Post for 25 years. After retiring he spent his winters enjoying life in California. He was very active in many sports throughout his life and was always conscientious about staying in good shape. Glenn was well known for his thorough knowledge in gardening as many could see from his beautiful garden he tended to each summer. He also helped many with their gardening questions. He was an avid golfer, and a member of the Riverview Golf Club in Redcliff, shooting a 75 in one of his last rounds this season. Glenn is now up in heaven teaching the angels his dance moves. A special thank you to Dr. Mohanraj who was with Glenn throughout his journey from the beginning to end. Also special thanks to the staff at St. Joseph’s Home for their care and compassion. The family will have a celebration of life for Glenn in the spring.
