November 13, 1927 ~ December 21, 2021

It is with sadness that the family of Armande Goulet (nee Beaudoin) announces her passing in Medicine Hat on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at the age of 94 years. Armande was born in Gravelbourg, SK., on November 13, 1927. She was the youngest of five children. Armande worked as the supervisor of the Shaunavon Telephone Exchange, where she met her husband, Albert Goulet. They were married in Dollard, SK., on February 25, 1954 and shared 53 years of marriage. Together they raised three children, living first in Dollard and later in Shaunavon before retiring to Medicine Hat. Armande led a busy life until she suffered a stroke in 2017. She learned how to do Brazilian embroidery in Medicine Hat and made many beautiful pieces. Armande was known to help her neighbours and enjoyed doing so whenever and however she could. Her greatest pleasure was to be with her family, spending time with them and baking all their favourite things. Her grandchildren and great- grandchildren were a great source of joy to her. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert as well as her grandson, Ian Goulet. She will be forever remembered and loved by her three children: Richard (Bev), Adele (Wade) and Denis (Heather) as well as two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren: Ryan (Olga) and their sons, Caleb and Devin, and Aaron (Leslie) and their children, Owen and Julie.

“We have nothing but good memories of our dear mother,

grandmother and great-grandmother.”

Family wish to express their sincere gratitude to everyone at Masterpiece Southland Meadows for the exemplary care provided to Armande during her time there and especially in her last days. She always felt loved and cared for by the staff, and her family knew she was as well.
