With sadness, the family announces the passing of Colleen Helen Chandler of Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, January 9, 2022, at the age of 76 years. Colleen will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Gary Chandler, and her two nieces, Martina and Denise and their families; as well as extended family members throughout Western Canada. Colleen was predeceased by her parents, Cecil and Ruth (nee McDonald) Chandler of Edmonton, Alberta, and also by a sister-in-law, Donna Chandler of the Medicine Hat area. The family wishes to thank the wonderful people who worked with Colleen, (affectionately known as “Grandma”) at the Michener Centre in Red Deer. No matter what position they held, each contributed positively to Colleen’s stay of sixty-seven years that only excellent care made possible. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
