DAVID ANDREW CAMPBELL

December 11, 1987 – February 22, 2022

It is with deep sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved David Campbell. He passed away on the morning of February 22nd 2022, at the young age of 34. He was born to Rocksanne Campbell and predeceased by Kenneth Kosty in Calgary Alberta. He was the middle child of 3, and is survived by his grandparents Rocky and Joanne, his mother Rocksanne, his brother John, his sister Lori, his two daughters, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces. David is remembered as a happy, goofy, go lucky, free spirit, who had piercing hazel eyes that could conquer the world. He was a strong worker that loved to cook. David lived in Medicine Hat until the age of 18 when he moved to Calgary to help grow his fathers roofing business. After he finished helping his father, he broke out and started his own roofing company just so he could have friendly competition with his father. He loved everything about the city of Calgary because he enjoyed staying busy even in his free time. He had many hobbies which ranged from skiing the top of the mountains in Banff to sitting in his office relaxing while completing puzzles, and everything in between. He would never shy away from a challenge no matter where he was or what he was doing, and you could always pick him out of a crowd because he prided himself on being clean cut, dressed sharp, and smiling big.

Please know you are Deeply missed and loved by many. May your soul Rest In Peace and find all the happiness you so desired and deserved.

A memorial will be held in David’s name in summer of 2022 for family and close family friends.

In lieu of flowers donations in David’s name can be made to M.A.A.D, or any addictions and mental health office such as Angels @ Risk.

Any questions about the memorial, and/or condolences may be forwarded to Johnycashb@live.com

  1. Gord Sulz says:

    Rocksanne,
I’m so sorry to have heard of your loss!
I still remember All your kids as they were as children and I am so sorry I never had the opportunity to meet David again as an adult.
I remember him as a such a happy kid and so full of life, and it is hard to believe that I will never ever have the chance.
    However!
He will Always be here with us, and while that is no Real consolation,
maybe it’s enough for us to know that we’ve had the privilege to have had him in our lives.

    Your friend,
    Gord Sulz
