1967 – JARED NEAL GENDRON – 2022

Jared Neal Gendron passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Home on Wednesday, March 9th, 2022 at the age of 54 years. Jared is survived by his loving mother, Loretta Ann (Gendron) O’Bear; step-father, Don Theodore O’Bear; dear friend, Darlene Doughtery of Halifax, NS; son, Steele Blue Vogt and Amber Clowe; brother, Shawn Pierre Gendron and his daughter, Victoria; sister, Lisa Marlena Gendron and her daughter, Kayla and son, Ethan; step-sister, Meredith (Brandon) Conboy and their children, Makayla and Braedon; step-brother, Clayton (Heather) O’Bear of Crowsnest Pass, AB. Jared was predeceased by his father, Lloyd Richard Gendron in 2003; his grandparents, John and Magdalena Koch, Ted and Elaine O’Bear and Martha and Phillip Gendron; his favourite aunt, Rose; special Grandma Koch; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jared worked at Goodyear Canada from March 8th, 1989 until his retirement after 31 years of service on April 1st, 2020. One of his favourite past times was to go to his Aunt Rose’s cabin and go fishing and visit with family at Lac Pelletier in Swift Current. He loved music and enjoyed going to concerts, walks in Kin Coulee park, and travelling to Mexico, where he met the love of his life, Darlene. His last vacation to Mexico was just this past November. He loved hockey and was an avid fan; collecting jerseys and other hockey memorabilia. Vigil Rites (Prayers) will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1A 1Z5 , on Tuesday, March 15th, 2022 at 7:00 pm. Family and friends that are unable to attend in person, are invited to join the prayer service virtually by logging on to www.saamis.com and joining the live webcast on Jared’s memorial page on the above date at 6:55 pm. A virtual guest book is available on the livestream page for those participating remotely. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. PATRICK’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 238 – 2nd Avenue NE, MEDICINE HAT, AB T1A 5Z9, on Wednesday, March 16th, 2022, at 2:00 pm with Celebrant, Fr. Roque Pereira. Family and friends that are unable to attend in person, are invited to join the funeral mass virtually by logging on to www.saamis.com and joining the live webcast on Jared’s memorial page on the above date at 1:55 pm.
