LORNA MAE STADNYK

Posted: April 13th, 2022

(nee Johnson, Janke)

November 5th, 1933 – April 8th, 2022

It is with true sadness and relief that her family announce Lorna’s homegoing. Her Savior, Jesus and Heavenly Father summoned her to eternity on April 8th, 2022, in the presence of her sons. Lorna fought a long and tiring battle with breast cancer which led to aggressive deteriorating health. She entered hospice care in October 2021 which resulted in loss of her mobility. Fortunately, she still could visit and pray for just about everyone she knew. Mom had a very trauma filled year in 2021 when she lost her husband, Joseph Stadnyk in May and her much loved daughter, Monica in July to cancer’s tentacles.

We wish to thank the many doctors and nurses, particularly Dr. Grobler, Dr. Foley and all the staff of St. Joseph’s Hospice as well as Good Samaritan’s South Ridge Village for their love and faithful care over these many months.

Lorna’s faith and trust in her Lord along with the capable and generous caregivers has provided optimal care right through to the final moments on this ‘stage of life’.

Lorna will be greatly missed by her large sphere of influence. She will be cherished in the hearts of those she loved and prayed for. Her final wish would be that all would experience Jesus the Christ this Easter season: John 3:15-18

A memorial celebration of life for Lorna Mae is being planned and will be announced upon confirmation of dates and location. Updates can be found on Lorna’s facebook page and www.gracememorial.com. Condolences may be made at www.gracememorial.com. Arrangements are made by
