1954 ~ GAIL GILL ~ 2023 Gail Gill of Medicine Hat, passed away on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 at the age of 68 years. Gail leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Reg Gill; sons, Colin (Brenda) Gill, Sheldon Gill and Devin (Angela) Gill; grandchildren, Kyra, Reese, Chet, Caitlyn and Clara Gill; great-grandchild, Cruze; brothers, Lorne (Elaine) Schmidek and Lee (Lorelie) Schmidek; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Gail was predeceased by her parents, Clifford and Irene Schmidek. Gail had a terrific memory for detail, especially for dates. She had a passion for gardening, she loved cooking, baking and playing the piano. Family was very important to Gail, especially her grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be held at ST. PETER LUTHERAN CHURCH, 758 – 8th Street SE, MEDICINE HAT, AB T1A 1M5, on Thursday, June 8th, 2023 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Shane Hein officiating. If unable to attend, family and friends are welcome to participate via livestream by logging on to www.youtube.com  and joining the live webcast at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Medicine Hat, AB at the above date and time. A private interment will be held prior to the service at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery. Memorial gifts in Gail’s memory may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church. Reg and family,
We are so shocked and saddened to hear of Gail’s passing. We always had such good times with you both at County parties and enjoyed our visit to Gail’s beautiful rose garden. We are not able to attend on Thursday as will be out of town, but will be thinking of you all.

What a lovely memorial service for Gail We will miss her dearly as she was the glue to our family relationship. All the happy 60 years of memories will forever be in our hearts. Gail was about 3 and I would have 11 when we first meet They were living in the original farm house at the time All our love to you Reg and your Family. Peace and comfort to you all.
