Posted: November 8th, 2024 BETTY ANN BERT 1951 ~ 2024 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Betty Ann Bert announce her passing at St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice in Medicine Hat on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at the age of 73 years. Her loving memory will forever be cherished by her husband, Roy; son, Royce (Leesa) Bert and their children, Deegan and Keyana; daughter, Candice (Steve) Schaufele and their children, Gavyn, Taye, Lynden and Kelyn; mother, Irma Springer; sisters, Dona, Leona and Linda as well as their families. She was predeceased by her father, Walter Springer. Betty Ann was born in Empress, Alberta on October 7, 1951. She married Fitzroy ‘Roy’ Bert on August 12, 1978. Throughout her life, she always put family first, especially when it came to supporting her children and grandchildren in all of their endevours. Betty Ann’s successes in business came with long hours and hard work, having owned and operated Broadway Beauty and Tanning Salon for over 50 years. Her strong Christian faith will now guide her through her next life’s journey. A Private Celebration of Betty Ann’s life will be held in the coming days. Betty Ann had been my stylist since I moved to the Hat. She was a solid Christian but never forced her opinions on anyone. We laughed a lot about all kinds of topics and I always admired her optimistic outlook on life. Sincere condolences to Roy and family.
