ANN JESKE 1933 – 2025 Ann Jeske, beloved wife of the late George Jeske of Medicine Hat, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the age of 91 years. She also leaves to cherish her memory one daughter Bonnie Sederberg; her grandchildren Jerri (Blaine) Nowicki and their children Owen (Chloe), Easton, Jax and Isabel; Tammy Guckert (Russ Thomas), Staci (Greg) Hunter and their children Addison and Hayden, Kayla (Alan) Schmalzbauer and one sister Esther Klaudt. She was predeceased by her parents Ted and Lena Mock; son-in-law Richard Guckert; her brother Harvey Mock, sister-in-law Gloria Mock, brother-in-law Leonard Klaudt, her mother-in-law Lydia Jeske, father-in-law Emanuel Jeske as well as numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Ann was born north of Irvine on June 28, 1933, to Lena and Ted Mock. She was raised on the family farm until she married George on April 11, 1953. They lived on their own farm north of Irvine and eventually moved into the town of Irvine after Bonnie’s arrival in 1958. Ann began working as a custodian at the Irvine School and then as a custodian at the Conquerville School a few years later. In 1973, George and Ann moved to Medicine Hat where they both worked as custodians at the Medicine Hat News until their retirement. Ann found enjoyment in sewing, cooking, gardening and spending time with family. She and George enjoyed 62 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2015. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME one hour prior to the service. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTRE Friday, April 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant David Townsend officiating.
