1968 ~ DENISE METZ ~ 2025 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Denise Metz, who left us on March 28, 2025, at the age of 56 years. Denise was born on September 29, 1968, in Medicine Hat, where she spent her entire life, creating memories and touching the hearts of those around her. Denise was preceded in death by Norm and Matilda Meier, who instilled in her a sense of family and the importance of love and kindness. Denise is survived by her daughter, Ashley Keith, and her grandchildren, Taylor, Zack, and Tyson. Denise also leaves behind a host of cherished nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles who will miss her dearly. As a fantastic cook and baker, she had a special gift for bringing people together over food. She loved to share her delicious creations with her neighbors, creating a sense of community and connection. Denise was an early riser who enjoyed starting her day with a cup of coffee and cherished conversations with her friends. Denise had a deep passion for plants and flowers, often surrounding herself with their beauty. Denise leaves behind not just a family, but a community that will carry her memory forward with love and gratitude. No funeral service will be held at this time. As we say goodbye to Denise, we take solace in the fact that her love will continue to inspire us all. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever shine brightly in our lives.
