FLORENCE BOSCHEE March 2, 1932 January 9, 2026 EDGAR BOSCHEE October 30, 1927 January 8, 2026 It is with saddened hearts that the family of Edgar and Florence Boschee announce their peaceful passings at River Ridge Seniors Village in Medicine Hat. They were married on June 1, 1950, and after sharing 75 years of love, partnership and devotion, they passed away a day apart.
They will be lovingly remembered by their children, Brian (Kris) Boschee, Bonnie Pover and Renetta (Gerald) Otto; sister-in-law, Alice Boschee as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
They were predeceased by their son, Ron; grandson, Richard; Edgar’s siblings, Bill, Albert, Alice, Annie and Violet as well as Florence’s siblings, Elmer, Melvin, Martha, Ruth and Violet.
Edgar and Florence were adored by all of their grandchildren and they will be deeply missed. The family would like to thank Dr. Lotter and Dr. Bharwani for their special care and to Jaralee and the nurses on 4 west for all the love and care you gave to Edgar while in the hospital. Thanks also to the staff at River Ridge Seniors Village for their outstanding love, compassion and dedication to Edgar and Florence and to the rest of the family – ‘we love you!’
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Sunday, January 18, 2026, between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. A Life Celebration honouring Florence and Edgar will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, on Monday, January 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. The service will be live-streamed. Those who cannot attend but wish to experience their celebration may visit the Cook Southland Funeral Chapel website and select the View Broadcast button on the homepage at service time.
